Im guessing the 3 ohm Torpedo(LT) atomizer is just a standard 510 titan atomizer with a drip tip. Am I wrong?
I have never experienced direct dripping... but as a user of the tornado tank, tornado-c, and many cart types... I have to admit, this direct dripping thing is pretty provocative.
Please let me know.

The titan attys I saw on the website had a larger brass band on the battery end. I don't think they are the same.

IDK for sure, but I too want to know what these are and where(meaning link please) to get some more. Like you I am new to DD and really liking it, so I need some info and cleaning tips.

I didn't know what I was missing.

The flavor, the vapor... the head rush...

DDing seems like where its at.

Vaping is a hobby for me... Im actually not a smoker...

TW: I, being a loyal customer, would purchase more of these atomizers if they were available.

Just give me a sign!

Hi Cram

They are just standard 510 atomisers -  http://www.totallywicked-eliquid.com/products/e-cig-accessories-510-titan/regular/electronic-cigarette-atomisers-product.html

If they were any different i think they would be with with the torpedo products on the shop site.

I'm sure someone will correct me if i'm wrong  Wink

I looked these up on Joyetechs website and they do have a different brass band like the ones at TW, but TW is a official distributor of their products so they should be the same.
Joye shows a picture of the inside of the atomizer and they have the same mesh wire bridge as the one supplied with the Torpedo. So it should work but IDK why they have the slightly different look.
I am wondering if the resistance is the same or not ?   So I'm not much help Cram,as every answer leaves me with more questions.

Thanks X.

I wondered the same... I didn't think it would be like Joye to make a 3 ohm atty. Seems kinda beefy for their taste.

I have also begun to wonder about, what appears to be, the larger hole at the base of the threaded end.

I don't recall the hole being as big on a standard Titan atty... I could be wrong as it has been a while since I have actually been in posession of one.

The questions continue...

Hi guys

I've been looking into this further for you and can confirm that the atomisers in the torpedo kit are not the same as the standard 510 atomisers that we sell.    The torpedo is not a joye product,  the atomisers in that kit have been tested and come out at 3ohms.  but are the torpedos manufactures own atomisers.

Thank you so much Caz for digging up this info.  Does TW have anything coming  in the near future that is built to run at 3 ohms?
I prefer not to give my info to all kinds of sellers, and stay loyal to good companies so I wont order from (you know who)  unless I have to?

I believe the Super atties are 3.0 ohm
http://www.totallywicked-eliquid.com/products/super-cigarette-accessories/super-e-cig-atomizer-product.html

this adapter will make it work on the Torpedo
http://www.totallywicked-eliquid.com/products/drip-tips-adaptors/510-4081-silver-adapter510-bat-to-product.html

I know in the early days of HV vaping many were buying these atomisers as they could hold up to 6v pretty well.

Thank you Darth, I will get some on my next order a give them a try.  Hopefully they will have some 5 packs back in stock in the US by then.
To be clear is the adapter required to make them fit a torpedo?

Yeah they will not fit without the adapter.

Not sure if the Super 5 packs will ever show up again. Think the Super has been phased out by the Microlite setup. The UK has no Super atties I am told.

You may want to get a pack of Super Carts to go along with them. There not like the usual sort of atomiser .... the cartridge fully covers the outside of the atomiser.

You can cut the top off the cart and use it as a drip tip...... or take the top outer mouth piece off and drill the lower part for a wider hole.

Why not simply use a standard 510 atty, varying the voltage should get the same results,
high resistance + high voltage = lower resistance + lower voltage, same result.

True Cyborg

Does the standard 510 atty have the same style wire mesh bridge or is it a coil with fluvial around it?
I love the ones included with the Torpedo and want something similar to them.  I mainly used tanks before so not used to DDing, but love it now for use at home.

yah 510 attys work awesome, the other addy and I would suggest tw to get some would be the 306 it uses the exact same thread as 510.  In my personal opinion it provides a better vape than the 510.  Some might though be wierded out by its design though as it a male fitting with a female cover need specialized driptips for the 306.

I use LRs at 3.7 volts they work awesome and fine.
