this is the 2nd day i have had my VVV and met a nasy suprise this morning , i left the device standing on the desk about 1/3rd full , but when i came down this morning there was a pool of juice round the device on the desk.

it looks like it wicked up and drianed the juice that way, theres no sign of any leak round the bottom of the carto ,

i had assumed these would be safe to leave but i'm slightly concerned now as if this will wick up and leak like this i can't see how you can leave it with juice in.

i was intending to buy a few more of these Torpedo Chrome 3ohm 2.5ml Refillable Clearomizer's whist the offer is on but not sure now this has happened.

don't be put of buying the VVV due to carto issues you might see,  the divice its-self is well worth the price and nows the time to buy with 25% off

this works with any 510 type carto even the big Tornado Mega Dual Coil Cartomizer fits also the TORNADO TANK Cone Shaped Tank Atomisers will fit to this thanks to the deep 'juice well'

i have the chrome one and with the chrome tank atti it looks well cool  Cool

my chrome atty break there tops off, they not very robust. the best thing to carry them in is a denture tablets tube. sprayed black

Hehe... it would definately need to be sprayed black! Denture tablets used to be great for cleaning 901/510 atomisers, I don't know how I overlooked using the empty casing too, that's a great idea.

same exact thing happened to me and it was the very next day after using it a whole day.
got up the next morning to find juice all over my desk and stood my vvv chrome upright the night before.
Leaked clean thru my device and even battery area was wet including the battery.
Still trying to find a solution to this with the cartomizer

While I have experienced the occasional bad 3 ohm clearo (burnt taste that never got better) I have never had happen what you guys are decribing w/ leaking.

You guys aren't by chance filling them above where the wick comes out of the atomizer are you? I always fill just to the underside of the wicks or maybe an 1/16 of an inch shy of that and have never had a leak...hope I'm not jinxing myself by stating this...I need to go find some wood to knock on!  Tongue

i been sent a new slimline tank by another company to test , that looks the same so suits the VVV well but has a single coil carto ,

after trying a few of these wicked ones i not found any that preform consistantly enough i think they need to be reworked untill then i'm going to stick to tanks / or standard duel coil cartos , theres to many issues like dry hits or leaking just can't ever be 100% confident with them.

I have the leaking issue with two of these chrome clearomizers, my brother also has the same issue with his.
The leaking occurs even if you have it under 1/3 full.

What I've found, is you need to stand it upright, but so that the mouth piece is pointing down. The juice leaks out the battery end, fills up the area where the battery connects to the clearomizer, and then overflows out the air holes.

It's a bit of a pain, but the quality of the vape is still worth having them. The worst thing I've had though, is not them leaking, but having the whole top section come off in my pocket (covering my phone, wallet, USB drive etc... with the liquid). Also, on dropping these chrome clearomizers, the top often falls off and your juice is all over the floor, but well.... that's my fault for dropping it Smiley.

I have modified my chromo clero by putting a small rubber ring in the top over the fill holes and then screw the top section on this has stopped all leaking problems which I have experienced

I do like the wicking thing the clearomizers and novas have going but I'd very much like to see a stainless steel tank setup that uses the wicking system to use with my odyssey I bring my odyssey to work every day and I have never nor do I dare to place a plastc tank system on my machine or work bench.  The simple fact is, if it's plastic, it's gonna get broken.  I can use plastic on my home machine but not at work.  Heat, vibration and simple things such as hitting the tank against the machine is an accident waiting to happen.  Bullet proof is best and the odyssey is perfect for the job but the cartomizers don't last long.  I'm getting really tired now so if none of this makes sense, feel free to put this post out of its misery. Undecided

Hi Guys

Not sure if this is the right section but here goes :-

Had the mini for a couple of days. and while I haven't yet had the overnight leaking I have had a couple of issues:- Firstly the mouthpiece - it doesn't quite fit tightly enough for my liking when you push it into place (not sure if that's just mine) solution :- if you use an odyssey like I do swap the tips over the Odyssey tip fits like a glove but beware if you remove it without holding the portion you unscrew to fill it you'll pull the whole thing apart (like I did !) Sad.

Second flooding on the tip :- not sure if this has been seen before but the top of the clearomizer does not have a seal (3 ohm) to protect the filling hole, when you screw the barrel back on and this I think leads to fluid/condensation build up in the mouthpiece I've found that by putting a very thin layer of rubber (about a millimetre) inside the barrel neck with a centre hole cut in to allow the airflow it seals the filler and stops the flooding. ( I sliced a bit off the bottom of a wine bottle stopper  Cheesy) but there probably a better solution somewhere. By the way I don't fill it completely but well below where the wick enters the atty.

Loving the mini for the variable volts but I don't think I'll be ordering any Torpedo Clearomizers  till it's redesigned.Gonna try the RCS V3 and the mini nova till then.

I bought the mini vvv and the chrome clearomizer it came with worked great no leaking while standing up using thin PG Juice. I used it for 3 weeks. That was worth the price they sell for. So I bought 2 more and they leaked very bad when stood up and connected to the mini. So I figured it was a wicking issue. I used thicker juice vg and it still leaked. So I decided to do a test. I took one and removed the wicks and filled it half way only. Sat it on my desk and waited 20 minutes. When I checked it there was juice on the desk. So I cleaned it and tryed again connected to the mini. Same problem. So as I see it there leaking from the O ring or where the center post connects to the 510 connector. Must be a quality control problem. Hope this helps others.

i tried diy mixing but cant be bothered i find it too potchy i  use premixed patriot and titan ranges

i do some times get a little flooding but a quick dip of a streached out q tip tip genlty down the drip tip and all is well again (usually caused by constant chuffing on it and not by being at odd angles ive only used the 2.4ohm coils but i use my pro on a fixed power op so it should not make much difference to me

hope this is of help,
