Hi Guys, I was going to buy a Torpedo but I have a quick question that someone might be able to answer...
At the moment I am vaping at 5v with dual coil 1.5 ohm cartos... My PV has 5v a battery and is unregulated so it copes quite happily... Would the Torpedo let me do this or would it get upset and put the voltage down?
Cheers Lee

Hiya Lee, long time no see mate, hope all is well with you.
I haven't tried the DC Carto's with the Torpedo, but I would guess that it will drop the V because of the resistance. I'm sure someone will come along soon to confirm (OR to prove me a total idiot!  Cheesy)

Hi Steve...
Thanks for that.. I'm fine, been really busy so haven't posted much but always reading. You OK Steve?

I have a home made 5v mod with 5v batteries which, with the dual coil carts, is perfect. Problem is the batteries only last about 45 minutes so I'm looking for a PV with same punch but longer lasting batteries. I was thinking that perhaps the Torpedo on 6v and normal atty would be the equivalent if it wont run the cartos at 5v.

I'm fine thanks Lee. I'm waiting on my latest order......another load of flavours to add to the collection and a couple of eGo adapters for the Torpedo, looking forward to trying out the Mega Dual Coils on the Torp, they kick arse on a Tornado and SD so should be pretty darn good on a Torp, even if I can only squeaze a little extra voltage into them.
