Good price, too.  I see them at other vendors for $3-5 each, here you can buy the 3-pack for $5  Grin  Unfortunately, I currently already have a colossal collection of drip tips . . . maybe I'll weed out the plain black ones and replace them with a few of these Tongue

My first ones arrived today, first impressions great, nice feel on the lips, good fit in catomisers , smokys, 901 attys & 510 attys and they stay nice and cool after heavy use – chain vapeing.
Don’t be put off by my next comment  Wink Personally  I found the hole a little on the small side when using them to DD so I widened it out a little & now they are great.
Wish I had got a No 36 or 14 (green) one to go with the Absinthe but that’s for the next order.  Cheesy

Anybody know if these work ok with the Tornado cone and a 510 atty?
The other plastic tips overhang a little too much, and can block the air intake gap I think.

Hello Hamster,  Smiley
I've just tried one on a 510 atty, perfect fit. Also on a 510 dual coil atty, a clearomiser a smokeymiser, all the 510 fittings.
I took off the rubber sealing ring to fit it on a smokey and a clearo.
I'm not sure which other plastic tips you refer to?

Hi Pufferfish.

I mean the old plastic drip tip..
http://www.totallywicked-eliquid.co.uk/products/ecig-multi-adaptors/tw-long-nylon-drip-tip-for-the-510-or-product.html
After posting, I remembered I had one, and tried it. Seems to work ok-ish, but that could be because the cone is worn down with use.

To clarify. I saw it was compatible with 510 atties, but my concern was the cone.
http://www.totallywicked-eliquid.co.uk/products/tornado-accessories/tornado-batteryatomizer-cover-cone-2-product.html

I seem to remember reading somewhere that the older plastic one didn't fit properly with the cones. The shoulder that stops it going too far down was a little too wide, and it restricted the air flow which comes in through the end nearest the mouthpiece. So the metal tips were recommended.

I'll more than likely put one in with my next order just to cure my curiosity..

Ah, I see what you meant Hamster .  Wink
I think the confusion arises because you've read about people modifying cones to fit over the smokeys, which are exactly the same diameter as the top of the cover cone, so the cone needs widening just a touch to be used with a smokey. The drip tip fits nicely into the cone or the smokey, no worries.

The original black delrin driptips are slightly wider above the atty and can cause problems with airflow on a Tornado using standard 510 atty with the cone on.
My solution was to stick with 901 atties  Cheesy

Two sort of conflicting answers. Forum syndrome. Thank you both for answering though. I'd say you are both quite possibly right.

Yes. I was talking about the delrin tip, couldn;t remember the type of plastic, and I think they changed it since the time I bought it. But it does slide easily through the cone on my Tornado now, so perhaps not enough overhang to really matter. Even if it does, plastic is easy enough to work, so four little grooves cut around the rim would do the trick. Because I can see a number 35 or a 21 looking good on my black tornado.. And a yet to be decided green one for my absinthe days.

No worries. If you don't use the same gear, you couldn't know. The joys of variety. If nothing else, it gives me an excuse to play with my dremel.

Lol pufferfish, I can't imagine you keeping quiet for long. I don't know if they changed the design slightly or not, but the first batches of Delrin driptips did cause some probs with air flow on a standard tornado setup (as it was in those days Cheesy) Ye gods pufferfish, you've got me feeling ancient now!  Grin

you're so right StevieD I can't keep quiet for long, sorry to remind you of advancing years  Shocked
If it's any consolation I feel pretty ancient myself today as it's my (elder!) brother's 60th birthday today
but he's a happy Welshman living in New Zealand with tickets for the semi-final tomorrow.
@Hamster, be careful with that dremel, how can you get those tiny paws around it?  Shocked

These look really cool - hopefully they'll be the same shape as the existing long nylon tips as I find them to be the most comfortable tips of anyones

I find them to be as comfortable, sort of the same or at least very similar but shorter.

Ahh.. Now this looks promising. The shoulder looks from the picture to be slightly narrower. Which is what is needed. The older black plastic one I had turns out to be about .3mm wider than the metal tip. So it blocks the air getting in with the cone on.

I ordered one, so I'll find out one way or another Tuesday or Wednesday, when my order comes. I'll report my findings to the thread

Right.. Got the new tip about 3 minutes ago.

Definitive answer..

It is not compatible with the cone accessory.   Sad A fraction of a millimetre too thick. But enough to close off the air gap.

Looks like a bit of fine sandpaper might be enough to get it working though, as it's only something like .3 or.4mm too thick. I'll have to figure out a way to mount it in a drill chuck, and polish it.

I finally got around to getting some of these, and I have to say they're brilliant Smiley
They're a bit smaller than the delrin ones which is good as they make the overall size of the device a bit less but are just as comfortable to use.
I have to say that a number 11 (pearlescent translucent white) on a CE2 ultimate clearomiser looks awesome Smiley
