The hunt for lancashire vapers!

Pillbox38 is looking for local vaping enthusiasts near his home town of Blackburn who could/would be able to meet up for a vaping social get together in the next 7-10 days.

The event is not exclusive to lancashire so anyone who lives further out but fancies the drive is more than welcome to join us!

We would be looking to hold this event in what is soon to be 'The UK/World's first ever Vaping Pub' right here in Blackburn, Lancashire.

Anyone who is interested and would be able to meet please post below so we can get a rough idea of numbers. A newsletter will be going out shortly with further information and anyone who brings a copy of this with them will have their first drink paid for courtesy of Pillbox!

The Kings INN  

Mill Hill Blackburn has allowed us TECC and TW to use them as a guinea pig.

We have the Vapers Cafe in the States, but it was not easy to start from scratch ie no lounge, no drinks facilities etc.

The Pub has all this, we just need to show the local community how much more there is to recreational E Smoking.

Yesterday they started retailing the TITAN and TORNADO and renting out mega TITANS... £15 deposit returned once the Cig is given back.. All they Pay is £1 for their cart.

We want you to support us by coming and becoming apart of the First Lancashire Vapers Meeting Group.  Hopefully we can get a meeting together before i go to the States on the 24th and Alexs returns. I will buy anyone who turns up a drink:)

Great idea Jason and the pub looks fantastic,  sadly I'll not be able to attend the first meet as its a bit short notice for me and I'm about a  6 hour train ride away  .  but I will definately attend any future ones if more notice is given

I would LOVE to come, but I'm a few thousand miles west of Lancashire and a big body of water would prevent me from driving over

It will be nice to sit in a pub surrounded by fellow vapers for a change, its normally just me while all the others are outside having a real cig. Hopefully it will be on a weekend so i can attend. It might be worth putting the post code on so the out of town folk can find it easily.

Looks like a nice pub.... but the clientele look a bit dodgy (Sorry girls, couldn't resist) Unfortunately It's a bit far from the West Country, but hope it goes well and you all have fun.

I'm in Nottingham but will be willing to drive up to meet fellow vapers as I still believe i'm the worlds only vaper as i have yet to meet anyone else who vapes but am willing to be proved wrong LOL

What sort of stock will TW be offering on the night if any or is it just the items that the Kings Inn stock?

The postcode of the pub is BB2 4PL. It is just up the road from Mill Hill train station if anyone is using this method of transport!

It's nice to know some of you will be able to make it. If you need to place an order then I am sure we could arrange for you to collect it on the night. There is limited stock at the Kings Inn however we can make some arrangements if you need something specific!

By the way we are hoping to have it next Saturday so Bluemagnum get your arrangements made.

If it's the 22nd that will clash with a vaping meeting in York which would be a shame as there's no value in competing for the same potential attendees some of which are coming from Lancashire and other bits of the UK. I can easily get top Blackburn, but not while I'm in York on the 22nd...

What im hoping is we will also have the New Wicked Stick launch. I am expecting them here by next Saturday which would great.

I will be there with the Video camera and we can get some filming done and get it on you tube to encourage others to come along in the Future.

I think it will be worth you all making the effort to turn up..

Ah, that is a shame that it clashes with the Mini Vapefest in York the same day.

Alas I am already attending that so won't be able to make it.. great to know such a place exists and let's hope it encourages many more pubs and coffee houses to do the same!

We should try and entice our locals into the same.... it would be wonderful to have places we can openly enjoy vaping.

Due to the Mini Vapfest that is taking place in York on Saturday we are now looking to hold this event on Sunday 23rd instead.

A fantastic idea and, although I can't make the May event, it didn't stop me from planning the route for any possible future meetings. It would be great to actually meet people....   

Like Caz, I'd have a long train journey, although mine would be around 5 hours in total......

I did kick-around the idea of a train to London, tube to Heathrow and then catch a plane to Manchester and work my way up to Blackburn from there - but it was really too much flapping around ( there's a joke there somewhere....    )

No, it has to be the train....  Southend to London Liverpool St / Fenchurch St, round to London Euston, up to Preston and then across to Mill Hill or Blackburn itself...  There's a hotel on the Bolton Road a mile or so from the pub?  Could be useful.....

Should a meeting be planned for the future, please give plently of notice and I'd love to come-up and see everyone.....

Have a great time on May 23 and please have a pint of real ale for me... ( I trust that the pub does sell 'proper' beer ?? There are some great little breweries in 'Granadaland'  )

Alas, I'm called back on Sunday so won't be able to attend the inaugural at the pub  , but may send substitutes from Lancs to visit.

Yes it will be 3pm. The landlady Jayne will be putting some delicious home made food on for later in the day.

We are also hoping to have the Wicked stick available for you all to try as well as a chance to win some fantastic fluid.
