the steel came in a separate delivery it was supposed to be another couple of days before the steel was in however it turned up today in the uk unexpectedly.

Im assuming the same applies for the US another few days for the steel as its a separate delivery

The higher voltage can degrade the atomizer coil and burn the juice faster than the standard but that depends on the way you cape also. One thing I've experianced with variable voltage is as long as the coil STAYS WET the coil WILL last the same amount of time no matter the voltage (considering were not going higher than 5v).

+1 Rtsjr

I would also suggest if you do try the Twist, then initially set it at 4.2V...... this is generally the vaping "sweet spot" for a 2.4ohm atomizer, vaping at a higher voltage will drink the juice much faster so you need to keep an eye on your juice level, you don't want to be inadvertently running the atomizer dry, this will not be good for it  Shocked

Increasing the voltage can change the taste, but it is best done in small increments so as not to risk  a burnt atomizer wick.

Also the DCT tanks are not designed for high voltage vaping, so I would not take a DCT to more than 3.7V

...at the moment i have the 650mAh and the att's are doing well....abit confused on this one

Don't confuse 1000mAh with more power,  the mAh refers to charge capacity and not power output, a 1000mAh battery will last longer between charges than a 650mAh but both give out the same power in voltage terms.

Standard eGo batteries output 3.3V regulated, which means the voltage will stay the same from fully charged to discharged, the Twist is different in that you can increase the voltage up to 4.8V, and this is regulated also, but running it at a higher voltage means it will discharge faster and require charging more often.

However I will be using my DCT on about 4.1v OH MY GOD i hear you cry well yeah you may think iv went all kamikaze alas no. I have lots of cartos from the DCT that have simply stopped performing as well as they should. Used to the point where they can no longer produce good vapour or flavour from the current 3.7v so bang it up a bit and walah you have a fresh vape again. Should only be done in increments though managed to put a dct on the torpedo when it came out and threw it all the way up just to see what would happen. Worked for about 4 draws then it ceased to be. So we tore it apart and yep the bottom coil went off to meet its maker. So you are all forewarned lol

Any news on the 3ohm cartos coming in soon jeff as i know we will have allot of people asking why the DCT just fried their carto lol

Could some one please put up a link to the ego twist on the main TW website as
I looked all down through each page of TW products and couldn't find it...not until
I typed in the search box did I find said product.
It's confusing reading this...that it's on sale then you can't find it, especially for
any one new to vaping and the search function.
Thank you
Tina
Kindly disregard the above statement.  Smiley
Ooop it's already there  Embarrassed I definitely needs some new glasses  Shocked or to much vapor from
my torpedo is clouding my vision  Roll Eyes  Grin

I'm still not entirely sure what a variable voltage device actually does?

Helps find a flavours sweet spot, more volts = more throat hit and vapour, less volts =smoother vape

Once you go twist there is no going back.

Vaping without any variable voltage on my e-cigs is not the same anymore.  You wont go back as soon as you come to the dark side of the vape Tongue.

He does have them in so your spot on I would have been quicker picking up one from barry. I was just planning on getting it Saturday then taking it down to him and getting some shots of it beside other batteries so people can see the size but royal mail have no doubt lost it because I always get all tw normal post next day I did have one that came 2 days after tw sent it but that was sent out late. The twist went out about half 2 so definatley should have been here for Monday at latest but I gave them he benifit of the doubt so expected it today and nope. No doubt I'll have to wait 10 days to put a claim in now. Think I'll be off to see barry before then though lol

Haha yeah. I will no doubt be going to see him this weekend. I'm trading the Orange tic tac flavor I got off him and all I got left is about 6mls of caramel left.

Was thinking about getting a mixing kit but I was kinda waiting for the new flavour range before I started. Probably just get a couple more Patriot range bottles and get some new cartomizers for the DCT.. Dunno if he has the new 2 hole ones in or not.

Not sure if he has the 2 hole ones in yet myself iv emailed him about it anyway. It depends what flavours your after whether its fruity or tobacco. When I was up at the weekend he has a wicked ginger mix he had made and butter popcorn. So I ended up buying some of the new platinum ice as its a big bottle for £15 just now and wow is that nic solution good for mixing. So got that and some concentrates to make up my own liquid which will last forever. So when the new flavours come out I just have to buy the new flavour concentrates which will be cheap enough

AG PG and VG so you can pick what you want plus he has VG and PG nic. I prefer the VG Nic as I use that then everything else PG but how much vapour you want etc will depend on whats best for you

The bulk is worth it.  The battery lasts much longer than normal and is needed for the extra power drain the VV will cause.
