I gave in and bought one Smiley

Do they use the same tanks as the standard tornado t?

I will miss the 2ml mega tanks, but the savings on arrows will make me feel better.

Shame, I can't see any of the cones or heads available, having recently come to vaping and being in possession of 2 full Tornado-T kits I had decided I was going to hang off, but then there was talk of the accessories being both available and compatible, so I'd been saving my money to buy some atty's, a base and a cone before commiting to a full kit. Oh well maybe in a month or so Sad

Awesome to see replacement heads available now! I see the LR version there too Smiley...just waiting patiently for them to hit the US site!

Do they use the same tanks as the standard tornado t?

I used a tank cartridge for the cone shaped T atty and it worked fine.

Clearly a calculated move by either TW or Joye (or both). I don't mind so much though as I wanted those new funky batteries and another charger anyway.

Hi Glinga,

I've read 8Ball's review and yes, it works with the booster Wink

I had thoughts of "being good and patient" and waiting for the cone etc instead of buying the full kit....but that thought only lasted a nanosecond and the bit of my brain responsible for buying stuff ignored it anyway  Wink

So.... hopefully it will be sitting at home waiting for me when I am back on Friday....fingers crossed..

One thing I noticed is that there is no warning on the replacement  LR attys regarding a shorter life span....I am guessing they do have a shorter lifespan than the standard atty .... anyone ?

Hiya Timuk, no-one's had a chance to try them yet, so the only answer I can give is ....probably, yes.  Grin
To be honest I was so impresswed with the performance I got from the standard unit that I probably won't bother with the LR version.

Who the heck do I think I'm kidding, 'course I'm gonna give them a try Cheesy

Yes.  The "C" attys work just fine on the booster (and they look great together too!).  No worries there glinja.  I was sure that would be a big question for a lot of folks, so I made sure I put it through the paces on the booster.  In fact, I think they work better at higher voltages than any of the other Tank attys.  I was able to crank them up much higher (didn't really get a "burnt atty" taste until I had it all the way up).  Sorry I didn't answer you sooner but I've not had the time for the forum lately like I used to, and just now got around to this thread.  So... order away! Cheesy

I was eagerly awaiting the ego-c when I saw the post saying they'd be available for christmass and the video Jason put out about their availability until now. Now I'm just totally dissappointed that they won't be in the states until after christmass, that they're not going to be part of the yoyo sale in the us but the uk had a small yoyo discount, that the ego-c doesn't have a mega version, and that the manufacturer isn't distributing any of the new atomizers a la cart. Well so much for the ego-c. Untill there's a mega tank version I won't purchase one because the draw on the mega tank atties is very smooth and not so much like you're trying to suck a golfball through a garden hose.

I mailed joyetech and asked that some time agoo.
I got a mail back saying that they will have one "Soon" whatever that means  Grin
Anyway, sounds like there is plans to make one at least.

The atties are already available but you need the atty base & cover cone and right now they are not selling those. Eventually they will be sold but right now, you can buy a kit and atties only. A predictable move when you introduce a new product that is compatible with the old models accessories I guess but don't forget, the new batteries in the kit are the funky ones with manual safety switch and charge level indication Smiley

Mine arrived today, very happy with it, the juice goes through to the atty better, looks like the atty makes a slightly bigger hole in the cap, but I'm finding I can vape better even outside in the cold Cheesy
Even my really sweet liquids are vaping well
Well worth the money to me Smiley

My Ego-C arrived today also, looks great and all fits well together. I did have a scare when one of the atomizers went in at a funny angle and got slightly stuck but that was my fault. It came out easily and on the second attempt fit correctly no problem.

I have tried my two current flavours out with there own dedicated atomizer and its great. The menthol is tastier and a nice throat hit but the main difference was in the cherry cola. I can taste the flavouring a lot more and get a better throat hit than i did with the older Tornado T atomizer.

So far so good.

The yoyo wasnt massive though and you'll be able to use your christmas card discount (presumably thats happening in the US too?) when they do arrive at your side of the pond Smiley

Just unwrapped my Tornado-C. Thought I'd try the 'high' strength, as I've been used to 15mg boosted to about 4.2. Amazing - I thouht it'd be slightly weak but the flavour and throat hit are stunning! This is like a TT+. The 'lock' facility on the battery works like a charm, and the vapour is full taste, full hit... dare I say it (only several vapes in) but this is a lovely piece of kit.  Grin
