Is a yoyo when everything on the website goes on sale?? if so by how much? or has that not been decided yet?

My wish list of things that go on sale =)

1) 250ml Bottle of Totally Wicked Electronic Cigarette E-Liquid (American Red Tobacco 18mg)
2) 30ML Bottles Of Totally Wicked E-Liquid (American Red Tobacco 18mg)
3) Totally Wicked TORNADO TANK E-NIC (all colors)
4) TORNADO E-NIC- Manual Batterys (both mega and regular)
5) Tornado Mega Dual Coil Cartomiser (3 pack) 1.5ohm
6) Wicked Joker T-Shirt (black)
7) TORNADO E-NIC 900mAh Manual Battery Passthrough (Black)
Cool Tornado E-NIC Neck Lanyard

I am going to buy tons of all these things anyways but if they go on a big sale I would mortgage my house to buy them all up! lolol

Bastili in a yoyo everything is on sale!  Shocked
The discount percentage will go up and down at any time,
thats the fun thing, say the discount goes to 25% you could hit
the checkout button, or you could hang on wait to see if it will
go higher!

Last time I think I hit checkout at around 40%ish, I actually ended
up putting 2 orders in, one at a lower %, then when the discount went
higher I found loads more stuff I wanted to buy! lol

Fill up your basket and just keep an eye on the discount codes!  Wink
Oh and leave some bargains for us too, lol  Undecided

Oh god! That’s torture! lol

What if I wait to long and it goes back up?? this is bound to drive me absolutely insane! lol

what is the lowest you have ever seen a yoyo go before? I imagine it will not go below 40% so is that the one I should wait for??

I just now signed up for twitter for the first time just for this event! is that good enough or should I get a Facebook too?

OMG how fun is this?!

Seriously, nobody is getting presents this year.. hahaha! I am even considering biking to work just so I can spend an extra $80.00 lolol

hahaha! I know exactly how you're feeling!
I won't be able to sleep at night now! lol

I've heard that it went to 99% for 5 minutes at one stage!  Shocked
I didn't see that though, the highest I've seen it go to was 49%.
But I checked out before that.

It's entirely your choice how long you're willing to wait!
And it depends on whether it lasts a couple of hours, or a couple
of days! lol... There are no rules!

Twitter is fine, you shouldn't need facebook as well, the codes are normally
posted right here in the forum too, so its doubtful you would miss them! lol

hopefully Mr. wicked realizes that everyone will be on between the hours of 2pm to 11pm (which happens to be my work schedule... weird lol!) and make his 99% deals happen in the wee hours of the morning.. when nobody but bastila is awake and waiting to destroy all forms of life willing to challenge her!!

I'll kill you all!!!  Angry

lol.. i mean, happy hunting everyone... grrrrrrrr

Just a FYI....

There are no discount codes during a yo yo sale.

The percentage applies to everything on the site.

For those of you who might use firefox web browser.  A good add on to have is REFRESH EVERY.

Load up your basket and then set how often you want the page refreshed.  Worked like a charm for me last year Tongue

Remember all , that this is not a manual Yo Yo Sale (unless there are some serious glitches this week) but a fully automated Yo Yo Promo.

The Worlds First, the programming has been difficult so has the integration of the algorithms’  graphs and graphics.

So the manual Yo Yos held previously are as described by members in the posts above.

BUT the New automated Yo Yo Functionality works like this

1. Max and min discount parameters will be set.

2. Each product will Yo Yo independently within its own algorithm based on the Min-Max parameters, this means Product 1 might be at a 15% discount yet Product 2 is at 39%.

3. The Users Yo Yo session starts once the first product is added to the basket, at this point a countdown clock appears with 30 minutes on it, this will countdown in real time.

4. At the 3 minute  to go point on the clock a Claxton sounds letting you know you need to move to checkout, if you don’t and the clock goes to zero your basket reverts to full price. You will then need to empty it and start another Yo Yo session.

5. If you proceed to checkout , the clock re-starts at 15mins and gives you this amount of time to check out.

It’s going to be exciting I think

CeeKay>>>Why will it dampen things down?

I think its better, adds much more structure to the promo, i can slow down or speed up the time between changes, once in your basket youve got the discount guaranteed, previous yo yos it could go up in your basket:0)

See what its like on friday.Smiley

I'll still be there!

OK So once things are in your basket they are set to that discount and
can't change? Sounds good!

It could be fun I guess!
Just that my basket was already half filled and waiting lol!
Adding more each day when I thought "ohhh I could do with that!"
Now I'm going to have to start from scratch and might forget half of
what I wanted!

Not to worry! I'm sure I'll still spend plenty Wink

Sounds like a lot of fun, it did get a little crazy trying to get through checkout when the really high discounts were running and everyone was checking out at the same time.  Sounds like the changes will make everything run much smoother.  Not that I have any complaints about the last one, I was setup for quite a while after!  Cool

julie i think there's a time limit of 30 mins set on the basket,  so basically if you dont check out within the 30 minutes.  the products
revert to full price and you have to start the yo yo session again,   at least thats how i read it  Undecided

Hmmm, tis certainly different, it will be weird trying to keep your eye on

It all seems like a pretty smart marketing technique to me tbh Wink Still, its gotta be worth a go and could prove quite worthwhile I reckon, especially if there's something you want to get your hands on  Cool Secret is, not to get tempted with stuff you don't really need.

You're spot on there Tiddler! I used to fill my basket with stuff that I didnt need
or want, this way I will only add stuff that I need to stock up on.
Could end up saving me a fair bit of cash!.... (but I bet it won't! Tongue)

No max or min times you can play, checkout 24 times a day if you like, but each sessions last 30 mins, in each session, because all products are yo yoing differently there will be high and low discounts to be had for each user session...

If I have more than one session and end up with several separate basket transactions, will I pay separate postage on each basket full, and will each basket full be shipped separately or all together as one?

I still haven`t got the grasp of this yet....

Do we have to keep an eye out for when the yo-yo discount changes....or do you have to put the items you want in the basket first, then wait for the yo-yo to change the discount whilst it`s in the basket ?

If an item is in the basket the yo-yo can change the discount in real time, but we only have 30 minutes to decide whether or not to checkout on that item ?

What if I am interested in putting 5 separate things in my basket (or 50, whatever) will they all change indepenently of each other inside the basket - and it`s down to the buyer to decide when to checkout ?

It sounds like it might be even more frantic than normal...I`ll get the valium ready  Undecided

Going from previous experience tiddler, each order will include a charge for P&P and will ordinarily be shipped seperately, but you can include a message in the Special Instructions asking for an order to be packed with an earlier order if it hasn't already been processed.

Fad, the discount is an 'across the board' figure that goes up and down during the Yo-Yo sales, so if it's at 30% that is 30% off everything (At least, everything that is not already discounted.) If it changes to 25% as you check out then you will get 25% off everything, if it changes to 40% then it's 40% off everything.
