Hi all,

Just a quick question about volts....I see across the board people talking about using different volts, are these different batteries at higher and lower volts?

Sorry if this is a silly question. I have a titan mega battery and a tornado regular battery are these the same volts?

Thanks Smiley

Yes, the Titan and Tornado are the same, they're both 3.7 volt devices.  Basically, most mass-manufactured devices are.  There are some mods (both homemade and manufactured by smaller outfits) that use different batteries or combinations of batteries to achieve different output voltages and others that have electronics to make them variable voltage

If you use a low resistance atomiser you get the same results as using a higher voltage.
But like most things vaping related some love it others hate it.
One advantage of high volts is more throat hit with the drawback of less flavour, but others will probably disagree.

Yes, I find the opposite - that it's a disadvantage to have less flavor and more throat hit. Smiley

I have been using my new egoc for a week now, after my SD died (had the 510 adapter too). I have a smokeymizer and LOVE it all except for the throat hit. I find it has better flavor than my tank. I just started mixing and I'm going to play with using AVG to cut the throat hit, but now also I see I can try a low resistance atty.

Thanks for the tip Cyborg!! (however unwitting) *grin*

Hiya aschaen, just wanted to point out that a LR atty will increase the throat hit, not cut it back.
Happy vaping.

In my not-so-expert experience, I've generally found that the higher the voltage, the more likely I am to cough upon drawing.  Cheesy

Wow, I guess I misunderstood. Thanks for the info! It's very much appreciated! Looks like I need to dig in and find more literature on voltage and the like.

While I'm not new to vaping, I'm a new commer (and convert!) to TW. I'm still learning and love to learn. Every little bit helps!

Thanks again!
