LOTS OF VAPOR and 375 MPH in 4.9 seconds

« on: June 12, 2011, 08:56:03 PM »

Look out Florida. A Monster Tornado is headed you way. Saturday at about noon we are expecting the blast of the Tornado to hit it's maximum strength and leave a vapor trail 4000 feet high. The Totally Wicked Tornado Rocket is going to be launched Saturday, June 18 between noon and 1pm. If we have TW Fans out there that want to attend contact me for directions to the field.
The Florida Shop is going to be there in force and I am in hopes we have a LOT of TW goodies to show off.

the directions I have are posted above. I hope to see a LOT of TW people there..
I will be at the Bradenton Shop on Friday and depending on how the loading process goes I will try to display the rocket for a few hours before packing it up for the trip to the launch.

Collecting the bits & bobs afterwards..  The chute was in the top of the tree holding up the nose cone & rocket body just off the ground..

That was great,so lucky the tree's saved it on the way back down, so i guess its re-usable just like the tornado tanks lol.
Jason should screw it to the wall of his new place when he gets it up and running with some catchphrase like 'Totally Wicked - it's out of this world' in the TW Font.

thanks for posting the Pics and nice job on the launch/rocket build.
