well now that was good for a laugh, but it is time to get real for a few minutes.
The basic assembly is done. some finish sanding and repriming needs to be done.
Not a big deal with that. This is when we reach our slow down time.
Next week I will be going for surgery on my right knee. This will shut down progress for a few weeks.
While in the recovery side of things I will assemble the Electrinocs Storage Bay with Altimeters
Battery holders and wiring. This will give me something to do between math and calculations.
I will try for more pictures this weekend of the paint process and electronics that are going into her.
To Fair Skys and Soft Landings.

The main worry that I have at this time is to make sure I have a good supply of e-juice to help me make it through.
I still need someone to send a picture of Alex and Joanne to me so I can have them clearcast onto the fins.

Hi All,  I just got through having a chat with Joanne. I am now wondering if it is possible to fall in love with someone just on the sound of her voice.  Joanne and I talked about building the Tornado Rocket and many aspects of what is involved before you can push the GO button. I love talking about the rockets and Joanne had many very good question. When the interview is posted, if you have more questions please forward them to Joanne and we will get those covered during the next interview. We may have to start taking up a collection so we can get her to the US for the launch.

Here is to Clear Skys and Calm Winds. Wink

The next interview is in the works and I am looking forward to it. I do enjoy talking to Joanne and she has done a very good job of getting me to explain things about the rockets that I never thought of as items of interest.

And yes Vaping Angel, I am looking forward to talking to her. No Blush here, she is wonderful to talk to.

What about the lovely Rachel and Louise ( I haven't met all of the ladies from TW UK, so apologies if I missed you out), and also the gorgeous ladies from TW USA? Come on Michael, I know you better than that lol - there are eight sides of fin to fill here, so that leaves another six, unless you're dedicating four sides each to Joanne and Alex? Probably 6 sides to Joanne now, based purely on the science of loving her voice  Tongue

There's also a competition lurking in there somewhere Jason? Winner gets to have their mug flown  sky high with the already selected crew?   Cool

We are lucky enough to see the build progression in chat, and the various sections in their raw form, but I can't wait to see the finished rocket in its entirety  Grin

This is geting exciting now. I ordered the Graphics for the Tornado Rocket today and I am telling you this baby is gonna be  BEAUTIFUL... The graphics were designed by a team from the UK and they did a Great job. I should have them next week and will start the application as soon as they get here. I will be asking Darth for help in posting some more pictures this weekend so that everyone can see the shape and magnitude of the girl. I am trying to follow the design shape of the Tornado in this build and I think it is turning out very well. My next interview with Joanne is tomorrow, Feb 25, so be looking for a Podbean link to show up soon. My next post will be a selfish one. I am going to make a big thank you to all those that have helped make this dream a reality.

The Tornado is coming and She is a Beauty. Tanks and Rocket Fuel make the world go round..

Best of luck with the launch.
With the demise of the last US space program (Discovery launch today, Atlantis and Endeavour final launches later this year) it seems that private enterprise is the last great hope we have of ever achieving Heinlein's hope of a dispersed race.

Eggs and Baskets..

Maybe my grandkids will be able to get off Earth, but if so, it'll probably be on a Russian vehicle.

as much as I dislike this I must agree with you. Yesterday I watched the launch of the Space Shuttle and was fortunate to have many friends on the TW chat watching it with me.I wish people on the outside could build a bond as strong as we have with TW and Vaping. life would be so much better..As you said, Maybe our Grandchildren....

As I understand the situation, this is the last of the shuttle launches  Cry  because they are going to concentrate on developing ways to land on asteroids next.  This will be important because they will be a future source of raw materials.  Its easy to get private funding for that kind of project for obvious reasons... but its a means to developing the technologies we'll need (how to deal with inhuman heat/pressure/gravity) to land on other planets.  Grin

Since the demise of the "StarWars Program" all Governments have stopped sending money to space exploration.
Shame is they think we are the only ones in the Universe. Gonna be interesting to find greeting aliens speaking Korean.
and then we have the Preachers telling us that "God Created the Heavens and Earth." But the Bible does not say God only created ONE.

Oh well, as long as they vape and have a good time it don't matter does it???

Isn't there a space exploration Bill going through your Congress just now?  Yes, I think Mars is in there but I believe the Moon has been dropped (last year sometime?) because of budget cuts.  Its Mars and asteroids, as far as I understood it over this side of the pond.  Its for billions of dollars funding and, remember, the Japanese unmanned asteroid trip only cost some $127m.  If you want to stay a great nation, guys, you need to be up there getting raw materials.  If you're not there, others will be and we know how empires are made, yes? I'm sorry to hear that.  They had Moon missions already in the planning stages last news I heard.  Mars is a longshot.  Without using the Moon as a stepping stone (or planet as the case may be), it will probably never happen.

How many 5 gallon buckets would it take to top that cart off?

I am waiting for Stickershock to send the Graphics so I can dress her a bit. I AM STILL LOOKING FOR SOME PICTURES OF TW GIRLS to dress the fins.
