Hi All,

For those of you around the Bradford area, a new shop has opened!

Its in the Kirkgate Market and is run by Richard - who I hope reads these forums.

Hes very friendly, knowledgable and helpful!

I went down with my friend (whos been looooads) and bought a Tornado case and 5 battery charger - I already bought my Titan from teh website

DEFINATLY going to get an Ego C at the end of the week!

Cant believe how much Vaping has changed my life in such a short space of time. Definatly worth switching from cigarettes to E-Cigarettes. :-)

Happy Vaping Guys!

Cool!!

Try his own mix!! Think he made grape flavour!
His waiting for lime and mint concentrate, sounds
Really good! Let him know you heard about him, on
TW forum( the son, not his old man, his still old school)

Yeah I come from Brighouse too and know Larma Tongue.  I have to say the shop in Bradford is great!  I go down on a lunch and stand there having a tea with Richard (owner of shop) vaping away which always draws in inquisitive customers.  A must visit if you are ever near the Bradford area.  Even if just for a friendly vape and a chat.

If you are near even give me a message and I may be able to sneak down Tongue.

hi all im new to vaping. got a cig called <another brand> and is horrible!!!! very cheap about a tenner for 2 cigs and 10 cartriges and all chargers, but it has lots vape but tastes of plastic and makes me feel sick! and cartriges dry up very very quickly. they are disposabale. could someone please advise me, A) where is this shop, B) im a single parent and cash is tight so i dont want to waste money, what should i buy? I want it to taste like a roll up, so a strong tobacco taste. no fancy stuff, just as if smoking a roll up or a regal or b&h cigarette. i dont want menthol or anything. also from what ive read i want one with juice not disposable cartridges. so i can fill up and go vaping instead of all this ash and smell and coughing ive got at the moment!  thanks any help would be greatly appreciated. no gizmos just straight forward e-cig is what i need really and if anyone could tell me price wise what would i be looking at?? i think i can manage around up to 30ish. thanks again. great forum.

If you can tell us a little about your smoking style we'd be happy to help.

How many cigarettes a day do you usually smoke and what type, rollies, already made up, rollies with or without filters etc?

Whilst you might be on a budget there's no point in advising a cheaper unit if it won't satisfy your needs.  Wink

ok thanks, i smoke tobacco rollies usually turner tobacco, average 1 every 30 mins, i roll them and they have no filters. so they are strong, so i would need a strong juice i guess to start with???  i understand about budget as you say, i already made 1 mistake with this cheap unit!!! not sure why i get plastic taste from it and sometimes the attimizers dont get hot enough?? i figured if im going to take this serious i better do it properly!  sometimes i smoke cigs so i dont mind if its like a cig and not like a rollie, just need it to be strong and taste of tobacco.

Ok, because of your budget, I would advise the following

1 x Tornado eGo C Passthrough Battery 1000mAh £19.99
1 x V3 Clearomiser £5.99
+ Liquid (Titan) either 10ml £4.99 or 20ml £8.99

Total between £30.97 - £35.97

The battery is longer than the standard battery but due to budget, I'd normally say buy a tornado ego c full kit, it will give you longer battery life between recharges and also allows you to use it whilst its charging.

The V3 is a very good Clearomiser and works very well, cheap to maintain. Just be careful not to bend it as its not as robust as the tank attys.

Titan liquid because the throat hit tends to be stronger due to the higher pg content.

Personally I would start at 18mg strength and see how you go. You can always increase if need be. As for flavour, like I said its very personal but would urge you to look at Virginia, blended Virginia or American red.

As soon as you are happy with the kit and in a stronger financial position get yourself a spare v3 and spare coils, followed then by a spare battery.

I know TW are out of a lot of stock at the moment but its due in imminently and if you use the discount code TWMAR20 you'll get 20% off, until the 8th.

If you are able to afford £45 then I'd also advise you look at the tornado ego c twist kit, which comes with everything you need to get started, its variable voltage, allowing you to turn the power up and has a spare atty included Smiley

If you are planning on popping into the Bradford shop then the online discounts may not be available but they may be able to demonstrate the items above, worth giving them a call.

Hope that helps  Wink

thats a great help thank you, do you have any opinion of this: http://www.totallywicked-eliquid.co.uk/products/electronic-cigarette-starter-kits/iclear/iclear-electronic-cigarette-kit-2-product.html  is that good as a starter kit, they have a few kits here: http://www.totallywicked-eliquid.co.uk/products/electronic-cigarette-starter-kits-products.html  so confusing for a starter!  but i will write your recommendations down and go to the shop in town and he can demonstrate and perhaps discuss my options. i can push my budget a bit if needs be its flexable 45 would probably be within my reach.

I would class the iclear as a starter kit for a very light smoker maybe up to 5-10 cigarettes a day. It's only a 220 mAh battery so unless you are in a position to have it plugged in to charge it, then you would need to avoid it. The clearomisers tend to be around 3oHms so that with the battery will limit the amount of throat hit and satisfaction you will get.

Your other link includes the C Twist kit I mentioned http://www.totallywicked-eliquid.co.uk/products/variable-voltage-devices/kits/tornado-ego-c-mega-twist-compact-kit-2-product.html

Certainly a nice device and like I said comes with the spare changeable atomiser. If you can afford a kit with two batteries then look at one of these http://www.totallywicked-eliquid.co.uk/products/tornado-ego-c/kits/tornado-ego-c-e-nic-full-kit-black-2-product.html

The items I mentioned first aren't in a kit but offer you value and quality items that could get you started a bit cheaper than the full outlay for a full kit Smiley

ok thats very helpful thanks, now im looking at the link you gave me the tornado ego-c  it also has variable voltage vaping.lol - can you use it as a stun gun? just reading about that now. see where you coming from with the battery problems id have as a heavy smoker on the other kit.  just going to read about this adjustable voltage vaping, i think that means more heat? more vaper?  stronger taste?  if it does then the tornado ego-c looks good the one you recommended. ill go read about it. defo do not want to get a cig with cartridges think juice is the way to go. can change easily stronger to lighter etc. thanks for all your help, what do you smoke out of interest?

Hello,

I had joined these forums after a quick google search of "e-liquid in bradford" and came to this thread.

I'm from Bradford and in need of e-liquids, where is this shop in kirkgate market? what known stores is it next to?

thanks.

hey mate...

gotta just reiterate what stetson said...... go for the ego-c if you can afford it.... cheap to run after first spend and great smoke.

variable voltage gives a range of power its true, but the higher the power the larger the ohmage needed on the atomizer.  high on the voltage will just blow 1.8ohm atomizers whereas on the lower settings this will be fine.  higher power through the atomizer needed higher rated atty, but as they are the sane price for low or high its not really a problem, just something to be aware of.....

and i know it seems a lot to shell out in a oner - but you WILL save. lots.  plus if you go for the 44.99 ego c twist maybe your stockist might swap the bottle for something you will prefer..? and i would think they would have tester to let you check bits and pieces out...

a note about tobacco flavs - apparently is it difficult to replicate the taste of burning tobacco accurately, so its made to smell like a freshly opened pack of tobacco - but its either a taste you will love OR hate.... as a quick flick thru this forum will tell you..... and even though i went from GV rollies to vaping - i hate  Smiley

as far as getting used to the vape , there is something called vapers tongue apparently which is not being able to taste the liquid after a few weeks - never had it myself cause i change flavs every fill up!!

good luck on the hunting dave...
